We are currently looking to immediately hire and are willing to train the right person!!
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Properly fabricate countertops in our solid surface/ stone shop. Fabrication includes cutting, drilling, gluing, sanding, and polishing. There is potential for growth opportunities to install in the field for the right candidate.
  • Train to fabricate and install under-mount and drop-in sinks
  • The fabrication process in our solid surface shop is very similar to a "woodworking shop" it is a bit dry and dusty. The fabrication process with natural stone is like a "woodshop" yet requires water as part of the fabrication process and is less dusty.
  • Tools & Training are provided in our shop.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Both of our stone and solid surface shops are sometimes exposed to various climates determined by local weather. Temperature can be a bit cool or warm at times.
  • Basic tool knowledge: router sander, straight edge cutting tools, diamond blades, and a table saw is part of this process.
  • MUST! Properly read a tape measure
  • Willing to train the right person to be a "Helper" with the opportunity to grow into a potential "Lead" role.
  • Construction Experience a plus, countertop knowledge or installation experience a plus but not required.

Ability to apply common understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis; Standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and handling.
The maximum amount of weight required to be lifted will be less than 25 pounds.
There are no special vision requirements.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
The typical noise level for this job is moderate.
